Nigel Walker is Deputy Program Director for Science, National Toxicology Program, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, National Institutes of Health.

Dr. Walker holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom.

Prior to his current position, Dr. Walker was a Staff Fellow and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Laboratory of Computational Biology and Risk Analysis for the Environmental Toxicology Program at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. Dr. Walker also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Division of Toxicological Sciences for the School of Hygiene and Public Health at Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Walker is a member of the Society of Toxicology, the Society of Toxicology North Carolina Chapter, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
