Dr. Melissa K. Andrew is a staff geriatrician and Associate Professor of Medicine (Geriatrics) and Community Health & Epidemiology at Dalhousie University, and a member of the Canadian Centre for Vaccinology (CCN). Dr. Andrew received her BSc with First Class Honours in biochemistry and philosophy in 1997 from the University of King’s College, her MD with Distinction from the Dalhousie University Faculty of Medicine in 2001, her MSc in Public Health with Distinction in 2004 from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and her PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies from Dalhousie in 2011. Her research interests include social vulnerability, frailty, dementia and delirium.
