Kenneth Bear, Pag, is a member of Ochapowace First Nation and currently serves as the Agriculture Development Manager at PFN Group of Companies. With a career encompassing various roles, Ken has worked with Farm Credit Canada (FCC), the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN), Ochapowace First Nation, and is currently with Pasqua First Nation.
Ken sits on the National Policy Advisory Committee for Business Risk Management Programs with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and is a board member of the Canadian Agriculture Human Resource Council. He is also the President of the National Indigenous Agriculture Association, a federally incorporated non-profit organization, and a Registered Agrologist with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists (since 2001). Additionally, Ken is an on-reserve grain and oilseed farmer.
Ken holds a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy with a specialization in Agronomy and Crop Science from the College of Agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan. He began his studies at the Saskatchewan Indian Federated College, now the First Nations University of Canada.
